We are delighted to share a little about ourselves. We have a DVD in all the rooms where Jim tells the remarkable journey that got us here. It is quite an inspiring story! We married in 1974 and immediately moved to Paradise, a mountain town in Northern Cali-fornia, where we stay for the next 25 years. During that time, we worked with the local hospital and reared a son. Twenty-five years later, our son was grown and gone from home and health care in California was going through drastic changes. At the time, we were both in upper management at the hospital and working ourselves into an early grave. Through a series of extraordinary events, we decided to change careers and ended up here in Bend...owing and operating Cricketwood Country Bed and Breakfast. We LOVE it and pinch ourselves every day that we get to do this and live here! It brings us great joy from helping to make our guests experience wonderful and memorable. We sure hope you can experience it for yourselves.
