BEEF STROGANOFF
Serves 8
This is so good and so easy. You can cook it in a crock-pot
or stove top. Depends on your schedule.
1 ½ to 2 lbs stew meat (I cut into bit size pieces and trim
fat)
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 packet of Liptons onion soup mix
1 lb fresh mushrooms, quartered
1 Tbsp dijon mustard
1 Tbsp worchestershire sauce
1 Tbsp Cognac
Pepper to taste
6 oz cream cheese, in pieces
Put all ingredients in crock-pot except cream cheese. Mix
slightly, cover and bake all day (6-8 hours) in crock-pot.
1 hour before serving, add cream cheese and fold in. Serve
over noodles.
NOTE: You can also do this on the stovetop. Just put in
pot, cover and cook a couple of hours. 30 minutes before serving,
add cream cheese.
