CREAM PEAS

Serves 4

This is an delicious way to eat your peas!

2 cups frozen green peas

2/3 cup water

1/8 tsp salt

1/4 tsp garlic powder

1 onion, chopped

1/3 cup cream (or half-and-half)

2 Tbsp flour

1/2 Tbsp sugar

Saute onions in butter. Cook green peas in salted water. In a small bown, whisk together cream, flour and sugar. Stir mixture into peas. Add cooked onions. Cook until thick and bubbly.
