GREEK STUFFED PITA
Serves (Make one or two stuffed pitas per person)
These are crispy on the outside and smooth and warm on the
inside. They are great as the bread for a Greek dinner or
as appetizers.
Pita bread
Cream cheese
Minced garlic
Roasted pinenuts
Greek seasonings
Butter
Soften cream cheese. Add garlic and pinenuts. Cut pita in
half. Carefully open pita with sharp narrow knife to make
a pocket. Spread cream cheese mixture inside evenly. Brush
with butter and sprinkle with Greek seasonings. Place on cookie
sheet. Bake 400 degrees until top is brown (but not so long
cheese starts coming out).
