Cricketwood Recipes

HONEY ALMOND GRANOLA

4 cups Quaker Oats (I use 5 minute but quick or old fashioned works too)
1/3 cup firmly packed brown sugar
½ cup wheat germ
¼ cup sesame seed
1/3 cup oil
½ cup flaked coconut
1 cup chopped or slivered almonds
¼ cup honey

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix all together well (I use my hands). Spread evenly on 9 X 13 pan. Bake 20 to 30 minutes until brown, stirring about every 5 to 10 minutes. Cool and break up. Store in tightly covered container (I use ziplock).
