PECAN SWEET ROLLS OR CINNAMON ROLLS
Serves 10
Many say these are the best they have ever had! We agree
they are scruptious! We reduce the recipe and make 3 rolls
per serving and bake fresh.
Pecans, walnuts or no nuts
20-24 frozen dinner rolls (like Rhodes - we use Texas size)
1 small package dry vanilla or butterscotch pudding (NOT
instant)
1 cube butter
1 Tbsp half and half
1/2 cup brown sugar
Prepared Cream Cheese Frosting (for Cinnamon Rolls)
Grease or spray with Pam, angel food cake pan. Place rolls
in pan, cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight
to defrost. In the morning, remove the rolls, place the nuts
in the bottom on the pan (only if you're going to use nuts).
In a small saucepan, heat butter, brown sugar, half and half,
and dry pudding stirring until smooth. Pour over nuts (or
in bottom of pan). Top with defrosted rolls. Bake 350 for
30 minutes. Let cook approximately 10 minutes and invert rolls
onto plate. For cinnamon rolls, sprinkle with cinnamon. Warm
some cream cheese frosting and drizzle over the top.
